Firm provides single window solution for filing, prosecution and maintenance of patent and trademark applications in Nepal.

Nepal is not a member of PCT therefore filing of PCT National phase patent application is not possible in Nepal.

However, patent applications can be filed in Nepal under Paris Convention claiming priority from foreign countries. Timeline to file a patent application under Paris convention is 12 months from the priority date.

Nepal patent office accepts applications in English language.

A Power of Attorney, Proof of Right and certified copy of priority document is required but filing of these documents at the time of filing the application is not mandatory and these documents can be filed later also.

To obtain a patent or trademark registration in Nepal, grant / registration of patent / trademark/design in applicant’s home country is mandatory.
